How far in advance should I book my cake with you?
As soon as you can. We take orders on a first come, first serve basis and have limited availability.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
We require a minimum €20 deposit on all celebration cakes. Wedding cakes require a €100 deposit to secure the date. Please visit our Weddings page for information about ordering wedding cakes.
Can I change my order once it's been placed?
Depending on our bakery schedule we will endeavour to change any order with 4 working days notice.
What's your cancellation policy?
We offer a refund if you need to cancel your order within 5 days of it's collection date.
I've left my cake to the last minute. Is there any chance you can squeeze my order in?
We might be able to (but we can't promise!)! Please contact us directly by telephone to see if we can fit you in.
Can you write a personalised message on my cake?
Yes we can.
I've seen a cake another cake maker's Instagram feed that I really like. Can you make something similar?
While we love to use pictures you send as inspiration, we rather not exactly copy another cake design, preferring to give you a special and unique cake.
Do you make Vegan Cakes?
No sorry! All of our cakes contain flour, eggs, milk and butter and we are unable to substitute these ingredients in our recipes.
How about Gluten Free/Dairy Free/Nut free?
Our cakes may contain butter, wheat flour, eggs and nuts and are made in an environment that handles nuts and soya. Gluten and dairy free cakes can be made on request but we cannot guarantee that the cakes will not contain traces of these elements due to the nature of our production. We accept no liability for a customer suffering an allergic reaction from consuming our cakes.
What's the best way to transport my cake once I collect it from you?
Keep the cake box flat in the boot of your car and transport home as soon as possible. The boot is the flattest and most stable part of the car. Try to avoid putting it on a seat or in some-one's lap, as it can cause the cake to slope during transportation.
Will my cake be ok in the fridge overnight if I collect it the day before my party?
We prefer that you don't refrigerate your cake - unless it has fresh cream or cream cheese and we tell you to! Storing a buttercream cake in the fridge can make the cake stale quicker. Leave your cake covered in its box in a cool dark dust-free room away from direct sunlight and heat and it will be fine the next day.
Do you do deliveries?
Yes, we can deliver within a one hour drive radius but times will depend on the bakery schedule. There may be a delivery charge. Please contact us for information.
