Cake baker & decorator

We are looking for a full time baker and decorator for our busy commercial kitchen in Portlaoise. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, baking cupcakes, celebration cakes, and cookies, preparing buttercream and fillings, preparing fresh cream cakes and desserts, cake decorating, cupcake decorating and cookie decorating. Experience in fondant and sugar modelling would be an advantage.

Commercial bakery kitchen experience and HACCP certification is essential. You should have experience baking and decorating cakes in a busy environment. Candidates must be able to lift sacks of flour, and be on your feet for your entire shift. An excellent level of spoke English is also essential.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week over 5 days including Saturdays (but not Sundays)
