KELLY LOU CAKES WEDDING CAKE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By ordering from Kelly Lou Cakes you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and accept that these Conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website from time to time.
For all wedding cake orders we require a minimum deposit of €100 which secures the booking and date. A date can only be reserved once the deposit is received. The remaining balance can be paid by bank transfer, card or cash and is required two weeks before the delivery/collection date.
We are unable to deliver our cakes without full payment in advance.
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances due to any loss of business arising from turning away other bookings on that date.
CHANGE OF BOOKING DATE:
If for any reason you need to change the date of your booking, we will try to fit your new date in if possible. If the booking date is changed, a new quotation for the new booking date will be issued.
In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible, and discuss the matter with you and try to agree a suitable alternative. If you do not wish to accept our suggested alternative, then we will refund the full price to you.
If you need to cancel your order, the deposit is non-refundable due to any loss of business arising from turning away other bookings on your date.
All quotations are sent by email and are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.
CAKE STAND HIRE:
We offer cake stand hire. We have a selection of stands and will provide the stand best suited to the cake. It is the customers responsibility to return the cake stand/s after hire to our cafe within 3 days. The stand hire deposit will not be refunded in the event that the stand/s is/are damaged, or returned after 3 days. We are not liable for any damages that occur to the cake stand before we receive it back. Once the stand is returned within the given timeframe and we are satisfied that it is not damaged we will issue a refund.
Kelly Lou Cakes accepts no liability for cakes that are damaged after they have been delivered to the agreed location. For cakes delivered to venues we will always take a photo of the cake set up before we leave.
The images on our website are examples of our cakes. As all our products are hand made and can be ordered in different sizes from those shown on the website, your cake may have variations from the website image.
Any image provided as part of the description of similar goods is given for illustrative purposes only. We do not do exact replicas and variations of colour and design may apply.
Kelly Lou Cakes will do its best to match any colour requests for icing but we cannot guarantee an exact Pantone match as colours present differently in different materials. We aim for a perfect match but this is not always possible.
ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:
If you have any special dietary requirements please discuss this with us before booking. While we can offer gluten and nut free cakes our bakery is not a gluten or nut free environment and we cannot guarantee that trace amounts will not be present.
Please note we do not offer, dairy free, egg free or vegan cakes.
NON-EDIBLE INGREDIENTS AND DECORATIONS:
Our Goods may contain non-edible ingredients or decorations, such as plastic dowels in tiered cakes or wires in some sugar flowers and fresh flowers. These must be removed before serving or eating.
DELIVERY AND SET UP CHARGE:
Delivery and set up charges will be shown on cake quotation.
Kelly Lou Cakes is very active on social media platforms and regularly updates these platforms with our latest work, behind the scenes pictures, close up shots and pictures of your wedding cake after the day. All posts are done tastefully and positively. On ordering with Kelly Lou Cakes you agree that Kelly Lou Cakes can name you by first name terms on social media and blogging platforms and include your wedding venue and date. If you would rather us not post a picture of your cake, please let us know.
If you wish to make a complaint to us or let us know any concerns after receiving your cake/s, please do so by email to email@example.com . Evidence of any faults, damages or discrepancies should be included. Any refunds will be given entirely at our discretion.
